Mills Free Dock: Winds north 5 knots. 44 degrees. Partly Cloudy.
Entered South Mills Lock at 08:30 – exited 09:06 into
Turner’s Cut, another very fine portion of the ICW. The Lock dumped up into the
tidal waters of the Pasquotank River, which empties into Albemarle Sound.
A short run of 17 miles (that would nautical miles) brings us to Elizabeth City, NC where we tied up at a free city dock for the night.
